Back staking plan

(Back) Dalembert

Up one point after a loss, down one point after a win, with a cap on how high it can climb.

D'Alembert raises the stake by one point after each loss and lowers it by one point after each win. It's gentler than doubling, but it still climbs during a losing run.

Parameters

  • Stake: one point, the base stake.
  • Limit: the most points you'll ever stake. The multiplier stops climbing here.
  • Multiplier: the current number of points (read-only).

How it works

Lose and the next bet is 2× the stake, lose again and it's 3×, and so on until a win, which takes it down one step, from 3× to 2× say. The Limit stops the multiplier running away during a long losing run.

Example

MultiplierBetResultP/L
110 @ 3.40Lost−10
220 @ 2.90Lost−20
330 @ 4.10Lost−30
440 @ 3.20Won+88
330 @ 2.50Won+45

This plan raises stakes after losses. Enable Consequential betting on the Settings page, use one selection per race, set a Stop at loss, and read why loss-recovery plans empty banks before running it with real money.
