Gruss Betting Assistant Alternative for Automated Racing Bets
xCloudBot vs Gruss: a cheap, popular trading tool versus a cloud bot that places your bets for you.
Let's be straight about it: Gruss Betting Assistant is very cheap. At £6 a month with a 30-day trial, it's hard to argue with if you want a fast ladder and one-click betting on Betfair. It's a different kind of tool from xCloudBot, though.
What Gruss is for
Gruss's own site describes the Betting Assistant as giving you a ladder interface, one-click betting and live scores. It's built for people who are at the screen, betting and trading by hand. It's listed for Windows 10, so it runs on your PC.
What xCloudBot is for
xCloudBot is for when you're not at the screen. It places back and lay bets on horse racing and greyhounds from our servers, 24/7, using selections copied automatically from a tipster, your own uploaded as a CSV, or the built-in systems. Win bets can go on at BSP. Your PC can be off, and you can manage it from a phone.

Which one do you need?
Stick with Gruss if you bet or trade by hand while watching the markets. It's about as cheap as betting software gets.
Look at xCloudBot if your problem is getting bets placed when you're not there: during work, overnight uploads for the next day's racing, or a system that has to run every day without fail.
