Back staking plan
(Back) Martin
Multiply the stake after every loss, back to base after a win, with a cap on the multiplier.
Martin is a martingale: each loss multiplies the stake, and a win takes it straight back to the base stake.
Parameters
- Stake: the base stake.
- Multiplier: what the stake is multiplied by after each loss.
- Multiplier Limit: the point at which the multiplier stops growing.
Example
Stake 1, multiplier 2.5. Bet 1: stake 1, loses. Bet 2: 1 × 2.5 = 2.5, loses. Bet 3: 2.5 × 2.5 = 6.25, wins. Bet 4: back to 1, wins.
Stakes grow very quickly: with a multiplier of 2.5, the seventh bet of a losing run is 244 times the base stake. Set the limit and a stop loss accordingly.
This plan raises stakes after losses. Enable Consequential betting on the Settings page, use one selection per race, set a Stop at loss, and read why loss-recovery plans empty banks before running it with real money.
