Edit race form
Changing one race's market, selections and conditions, including odds limits, runner counts and market rank that apply to that race only.
Click Edit next to any race on the Races page and this form opens. Everything you set here applies to that one race, on top of the global conditions set on the Betting conditions page.
The fields
- Market name: the market and its time. Click Select… to change it. A Select market window opens: choose Horse racing or Greyhounds from the drop-down at the top, pick the market, and click Select.
- Selections: a drop-down where you tick one or more selection rules or named runners for the race. The options are explained on the Selections page.
- Edit runners…: opens the Runner conditions window for this race.
- Min odds, Max odds: an odds range for this race only. A runner must pass both these and the global min/max odds from the Betting conditions page. If you don't want a per-race range, leave them at 1.01 and 1000.
- Min runners, Max runners: the number of runners required, for this race only.
- Market rank: requires the runner to be a particular favourite in this race. 3 means it must be third favourite. More than one position is allowed by writing the ranks together with no separators: 345 means third, fourth or fifth favourite. A global rank can be set on the Betting conditions page instead; if both are set, the runner only has to match one of them, so in practice use one or the other.
- Update: saves the changes.
- Cancel: throws them away and returns to the race list.
