Manual stakes
Giving each selection its own stake instead of letting the staking plan decide.
Manual stakes let you set a different stake on each selection, which is what you want when a tipster gives points per bet or you rate some bets more than others.
How to use it
- On the Races page, tick the races you want to set stakes for.
- Click Manual stakes. A window opens listing the selections; if nothing appears, allow pop-ups for the bot in your browser.
- Enter a stake against each selection and save.
How it interacts with the staking plan
- A selection with a stake of 0 takes its stake from the system's staking plan as normal.
- A selection with a stake above 0 uses that stake and the staking plan is ignored for it.
- The staking plan still records the result of every bet, including manual ones, so a progressive plan would carry those results into its next calculation. For that reason, use Back Level Stakes or Lay Level Stakes as the system's plan when you're staking manually.
- Whether the bets are backs or lays is decided by the staking plan: a lay plan places lay bets with your manual stakes.
