Races page
Where a system's races and selections live: loading them, importing them, editing them one at a time, and reading the race list.
The Races page shows every race currently loaded into the system and is the starting point for getting selections in, whether by filter, by CSV, by name or by hand.
The buttons
- Load races: opens the Load races form, where you filter Betfair markets and choose how selections are picked.
- Add new: adds one empty row to the list, ready for you to pick a market and selections in the Edit race form.
- Import from CSV: opens the Import races page for loading races and selections from a CSV file on your computer.
- Runner conditions: opens the Runner conditions page for the races you've ticked, where each runner can have its own betting conditions.
- Manual stakes: opens the Manual stakes page, where you can give each selection its own stake.
- Delete selected and Delete all: remove the ticked races, or every race.
- To Excel and To CSV: save the race list as a file. A CSV saved this way can be loaded back in with Import from CSV.
Under the buttons there's a search box and an Add button. Type a horse's name, pick it from the list, and the bot finds the market it runs in and adds it. Useful when you've got a list of named horses to bet.
The race list
The first column has an Edit link, a Delete link and a tick box for selecting races to delete or to edit runner conditions on. The other columns:
- Date: date of the race.
- Market: the Betfair market name and time. Click to open it on Betfair; click (SL) for the race on Sporting Life, where listed.
- Selections: what the bot will bet in that race: favourites, named runners and so on. See Selections.
- Min odds, Max odds: odds limits set for this race in the Edit race form.
- Rank: a market rank condition set for this race.
- Min rnrs, Max rnrs: the number of runners required for this race.
- Race P/L: profit or loss across all bets placed in the race. Shown when Show race P/L is ticked under the table.
The odds, rank and runner columns only appear when at least one race has those options set. Under the table you can set how many races to show per page and toggle the Race P/L column.
To change a race's selections quickly, click the small image next to the race to open Quick edit, change the selections and click Save.
