Back staking plan

(Back) Pro

A target-profit-per-race plan: after N races you should be N times the target up, with a divisor to keep stakes down.

Pro sets a profit target that grows by a fixed amount every race, and stakes whatever is needed, spread by a divisor, to get the running profit up to that target. When the profit passes the target, the cycle resets and starts again.

How the stake is worked out

Stake = (Current Target − Profit) ÷ Divisor

  • Target Profit Per Race: how much the target grows each race.
  • Current Target: Target Profit Per Race × the number of races played in this cycle. Resets to one race's worth when a new cycle starts.
  • Profit: the running profit or loss across the cycle. When it exceeds Current Target the cycle ends and Profit goes back to zero.
  • Divisor: spreads the recovery over several bets. With a divisor of 3, a winner at 4.00 clears all the losses and reaches the target in one go.

Example

Target profit per race 5, divisor 3. The bet is (Current Target − Profit) ÷ 3.

After the 9.63 @ 4.50 winner the profit (49.81) is above the target (45), so the cycle ends and the next race starts a new one with a target of 5.

This plan raises stakes after losses. Enable Consequential betting on the Settings page, use one selection per race, set a Stop at loss, and read why loss-recovery plans empty banks before running it with real money.
