(Lay) Martin
Multiply the lay stake after each losing lay, back to base after a winning one, with a cap on the multiplier.
The lay version of Martin, a martingale. Each time a laid runner wins, the next stake is multiplied; each time a lay wins, the stake drops back to the base.
Parameters
- Stake: the base stake.
- Multiplier: what the stake is multiplied by after each losing lay.
- Multiplier Limit: where the multiplier stops growing.
Example
Stake 1, multiplier 2.5. Bet 1: stake 1, runner wins. Bet 2: 2.5, runner wins. Bet 3: 6.25, runner loses (winning lay). Bet 4: back to 1.
Because these are lay stakes, liability grows faster still: 6.25 laid at 4.00 risks 18.75. Set a maximum odds and a stop loss before running this with real money.
This plan raises stakes after losses. Enable Consequential betting on the Settings page, use one selection per race, set a Stop at loss, and read why loss-recovery plans empty banks before running it with real money.
