Extra features and custom functions
The built-in extras beyond the standard selections and conditions, and what to do if you need something the bot doesn't do.
On top of the standard selection filters, betting conditions and staking plans, the bot has a handful of built-in extra features. They live on the Races page, the Betting conditions page and the Extra Features page of each system.
Built-in extras
- RacingPost Forecast (selections): load selections from the Racing Post forecast for each race, for example the forecast favourite. See RacingPost Forecast.
- Winning Trap (selections, greyhounds): select runners by trap, based on the trap that won the previous race. See Winning Trap.
- Price change (condition): bet only on steamers or drifters, by checking how a price has moved over a period before the off. See Price change.
- Suspend betting (condition): pause and resume a system automatically after a run of winning or losing selections. See Suspend betting.
- Extra Features page: the per-system options for betting on several favourites, runner conditions and similar. See Extra features.
Need something it doesn't do?
If your strategy needs a condition, a selection rule or a staking plan that isn't in the bot, get in touch through the contact form or at help@punthub.co.uk and describe it. Some things can be done with the existing conditions in a way that isn't obvious, some can't be done at all, and we'll tell you which. If you run a tipster service or a system of your own and want the whole pipeline built, from data in to bets placed for your subscribers, that's a separate service described on Tipster automation.
